The new year is here and let’s hope that we won’t be disappointed with the upcoming GW2 update since FFXIV did not deliver. My tenure in Eorzea was short lived hoping that the 2.1 update was more interesting, however, I left that world in disappointment. The addition of the player housing was a great idea, but having it to require a membership with a free company ruined it. Not only that it heavily favors big FCs, but it also removed casual players from the equation. Obviously, this is not the game for me anymore, it was fun, for a short while. So, I’m looking forward to what ArenaNet is cooking up for the next update because I’m finding myself spending money in Steam with their flash sales — and that’s a bad sign. :/
